India as a luxury travel destination

What is the first thought coming in your mind when you think of India?
Probably most people would answer with clichés like poverty, noise and
chaos. Although that side of India does decidedly exist – it’s only one facet
of a country with a cultural richness promising marvelous travel
experiences.
The opportunity of doing unique luxury tours through India will
broaden one’s horizon regarding the world’s second largest population- be it discovering the heritage sites of Old Delhi and visiting private ateliers of New Delhi-based fashion designers while staying in luxurious hotels such as Oberoi, Aman and The Imperial, or visiting  Tibetan Monasteries in the Indian Himalayas (belying once
again the rich cultural diversity of India) traveling along the untouched foothills of the Himalayas, continuing with a hiking tour through hidden valleys full of mystical promises – discerning travelers don’t have to relinquish any luxury.
Luxury tours in India do not consist only of  ordinary traveling combined with luxury hotels. It’s the added value that you get on every aspect of your journey.  You could sample luxury train travel through India that takes you through Rajasthan with its royal cities famous for its forts and palaces with majestic atmosphere all around. Of course with your own private butler who’d lay your bed and make sure that your personal toiletries are in stock.
Even in the so called desert cities of Rajasthan – Jaisalmer and Bikaner which impresses with their superb architecture – people are able to travel in the lap of luxury due to the developed state of infrastructure for luxury travel in India. Man could immerse in – not only see the heritage, history and culture of India by staying in a heritage hotel like the Koder house, that had been a host to Presidents, Prime Ministers or Viceroys in Fort Cochin, to discover a melting pot of Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese and English influences and be indulged by Keralan cuisine.
Even for naturalist, the jungle will provide high-class overnight stays in luxury safari lodges at the best place on earth for spotting the Bengal Tigers from a vehicle and from
elephant back that brings the experience of luxury safari in India’s breathtaking Bandhavgarh National Park.
By traveling on a luxury tour through India the typical clichés about India will not disappear but people will keep a more positive image in their mind about the former
Crown Jewel of the British Empire.

Majorca – A Popular Destination For UK Travellers

Residents of United Kingdom who are seeking the ideal holiday destination should consider taking a trip to Majorca, Spain. This is the largest Spanish island and is located right in the Mediterranean Sea. It is part of the Balaeric Islands. One of the best aspects about travelling to Majorca from the United Kingdom is that there are several travel package options available.

When you are planning on going on holiday, you look for several different factors so that you can find the ideal destination. Naturally, you want to go somewhere that is warm, sunny and will afford beaches as well as a chance to relax under the sun.

In addition, most people today are concerned about price. Tourism in the United Kingdom is down, just as it is in other parts of the Western world. Package deals make the most sense for those who want to travel on their holiday as they can often save money. Package travel options ordinarily include air fare, but also accommodations as well as some attractions.

Palma is the capital of Majorca and has featured a population growth in recent years.  Palma is a city that relies very heavily upon tourism and there are many attractions in the city itself for tourists to see. Some of the points of interest that you will want to see when you visit Majorca are Bellver Castle, LaSeu, Coves del Drac, and Serra de Tramuntana to name a few. You can also see the Marivent Palace when you visit this island, which is where the members of the Spanish Royal Family holiday in the summer. This is a private residence, although you can view the area surrounding the palace and also see the sailing competition in which the family participates.

Spanish and Catalan are the languages spoken in Majorca, with the dialect of Catalan very prevalent and differing from village to village. However, if you know Spanish you will not have any problem communicating with the locals.  In most of the tourist areas, English is also spoken as well as German.

The summer months are naturally the hottest when visiting this island off of the coast of Spain. However, the weather in Majorca is mild throughout the year and will even be climate during the winter months of December and January. Tourist season is in the summer, which is when most of the travel packages are offered. However, if you are willing to go off season, you can find many good travel deals. An ideal time to visit Majorca is in October when the weather is still very warm, yet is considered to be off season.

When you are visiting Majorca from the United Kingdom, you should use a travel company that you can trust. They should be able to assist you in getting air fare as well as a desirable package that is affordable for your holiday. You will find that Majorca is a destination worth seeing as it offers everything from beaches, historic sites and sunny weather in a Mediterranean locale that is pleasant throughout the year.

It is a preferred destination for vacation, as there are many things to do during a holiday in Alicante. Perhaps many of us don’t know about this place its naturals attractions, climates, so on. Alicante is located on Spain’s eastern coast, about halfway down the Costa Blanca to the south of Valencia and Benidorm. Alicante is one of Spain’s oldest cities, tracing its history back to the Romans more than 2,000 years ago. Its original name ”Lucentum” translates as ”City of Light”. Alicante’s location is a culmination of various stretches of nature coming together, in an area in front of the sea. Alicante is protected by many hills, which add to its defense value. This is why the first human settlers to the area chose it. Alicante has many attractions, it has stunning beaches, great weather, well-priced real estate property, cheap flights and nice to book hotels and also a great nightlife if you can handle the late hours. Costa Blanca, a Holiday Destination

Year after year, the Levantine Costa Blanca receives a great number of visitors ready to enjoy the excellent beaches and marinas on the Costa Blanca which forms the coastline of Alicante province in Valencia region.  In fact, during last summer the number of visitors was higher than other popular Spanish holiday resorts as Costa del Sol, Costa Dorada, and the Mallorca island.

During your Costa Blanca visit, you can choose from cosmopolitan cities with bustling nightlife or visit rural areas of the typical Mediterranean countryside. But the charm of Costa Blanca is the amount of good beaches located in popular areas as Benidorm, Altea, Denia, Torrevieja, Villajoyosa or Javea. A lot of beaches here are marked with the “blue flags” given for the purity of water and coast.  It is definitely a family friendly destination recommended for those who look for sun, good beaches and beautiful towns.
And if you prefer a good walk through the history, Terra Mitica is well worth visiting. It is an entertainment park situated in Benidorm where kids and adults will have lots of fun. It is a journey through the customs, myths and legends of the five most important civilizations that have populated the Mediterranean. Terra Mitica is designed so that visitors can experience the myths and legends of the cultures that settled the Mediterranean Sea, Egypt, Greece, Rome and Iberia Islands.

So the program for your visit to Costa Blanca looks quite more interesting than beach and sun…  consider it as your holiday spot.

It is far better to avail yourself of holiday villas and apartments to rent in Costa Blanca. Property management and villa maintenance for your holiday home in Costa Blanca.

Alicante Tops European Holiday Destination Choice

Alicante Tops European Holiday Destination Choice

Alicante is the second largest city in the Valencian region of Spain, perfectly located on the South Eastern Mediterranean coast. The population of almost 500,000 makes Alicante a bit more than just a seaside resort and offers a combination of modern day living standards, excellent roads and public transport, a variety of entertainment, a mild winter, guaranteed sunshine in the Summer and eating out is a real pleasure.

Alicante is one of the fastest growing cities in Spain, especially in the building sector which under current economic conditions has left an abundance of bargain properties for sale. I am sure they will sell due to the area of Alicante having so much to offer to anybody looking for a new adventure in a land where it hardly ever rains and where you will never have to feel cold again. Language and communication may present problems, but that just helps to give a new incentive in life, but even without any knowledge of Spanish you can still get by.

Things to see and do around Alicante include a visit to the Santa Barbara castle, a round of golf on several par 72 surrounding golf courses. For children and the more adventurous you have Water sports, the Terra Mitica theme park and several safari parks so you will have plenty of reasons to go out and about and make the most of the day in glorious sunshine. Talking of sunshine, don\’t forget the long sandy beaches where you can either lie out and fry, or have a refreshing drink in the shade of one of the beach side bars.

There are several 5 star hotels in Alicante as well as many very reasonable 3 star hotels, or you might just fancy staying in the Holiday Inn, in the Playa San Juan. Otherwise if you would rather land at the Alicante airport, get picked up by an English speaking taxi driver and then driven with care to a luxury villa in the Alicante golf urbanisation, just 25 minutes away. If hire care is required, it can either be organised online or at the Alicante airport on arrival. The tram is just a 2 minute walk from the villa, so you are well connected to Alicante and also Terra Mitica which is just before Benidorm.

Alicante really is a Golfers paradise as you can virtually play golf every day of the year, and beach lovers can expect to enjoy at least 330 sunny days a year. The nightlife is also complete in variety including a brand new casino found in the harbour area of Alicante. Something else also very popular with the locals in Bingo, funnily enough but there are no “2 Fat Ladies” in Alicante, so you need to brush up on the Spanish numbers before having a go, as there really are some very big cash prizes.

Discover this Golf Rental Villa in Alicante and play great golf on the Alicante Golf Course
